Serge Lemoyne studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Montreal from 1958 to 1960. He was a multi-disciplinary conceptual artist who created ‘happenings’, performances, installations and paintings. From the beginning of his career he favoured a social and participatory relationship between the artwork, the artist and the spectator.
